WHAT?

Silverdale rugby club are launching a club of origin series for college students who played their junior rugby at the club. 

The first event will consist of a series of 10 minute 12 a-side games from 2PM on .  A BBQ and drinks will follow at 5PM.   

WHY?

Silverdale rugby club is the largest junior rugby club in New Zealand and around one third of our 770 junior members are female so we will have male and female teams.  

Unfortunately we often we lose contact with our junior members when they go to college so we would like to create a fun environment where we can maintain a connection with them.  

The intention of maintaining this connection is so that when members leave school and wonder what to do next they immediately think of Silverdale and coming back to play rugby with their mates.  

The club provides a number of options from touch in the summer to Premier rugby (mens and womens) with under 21’s, under 85kg, women’s age grade, tag age grade, and rusty rips in between.  

We look forward to welcoming your family back to Silverdale for a fun afternoon.
