Duration: 8 Full Weeks

Cost: $50 per player of which ($30 to Silverdale to run the Module 7 $20 goes towards NZTFI for Nats eligibility)

Grades: u8's, u10's, u12's, u14's, u16 - Boys and Girls available

Playing times: 10 and under (4:30pm), u12 & u14 (5:05pm and 5:40pm), u16 - Boys and Girls (5:40pm). Indicative only and dependent on team numbers.

Teams: Best to enter your TEAM. Once a team is entered, the manager can invite member to join that team.

Individuals - (If you dont have a team to play we will do our best to find you a team). You can sign up online below.

Team Kit: You have until week 3 to get yourself Tag Shorts. UNtil such time we will offer Rip Belts to use. We can recommend the following cost effective Tag Shorts, that can be couriered by SAS Sports for an extra $6.

SILVERDALE JUNIOR TAG

Silverdale Junior Tag is the Module administered by the Silverdale Rugby Club Management. Currently it is run in TERM 4 of the school year and It is an open competition for all children to participate in, irrespective of their club, school or where they live. We encourage TEAMS to enter, preferably with a coach / manager to help and guide the team. We allow individual children to enter and we will do our best to find them teams.

The module is affiliated to NZTFI, the sports governing body. Silverdale Tag falls under the HIBISCUS PIRATES region (within NZTFI), who select teams that can play in NZTFI National Events. Of the $50 per competition that Silverdale Tag charges, $20 is paid to NZTFI.

HIBISCUS COAST PIRATES TAG

HIBISCUS COAST PIRATES TAG is the regional province, under which the Silverdale Tag Module falls. HBC PIRATES is responsible for representative teams and / or Tag development within the region.

This body has only recently formed to look after the needs of TAG players who want to play in NZTFI Sanctioned events.

There will be close co-operation between HBC Pirates and Silverdale because the latter is the only affiliated module, but in time as the sport grows so will the Pirates.
